Three folks have been bitten in a canine attack in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday. Witnesses mentioned a lady with a cane, a sanitation employee with a stick and a neighbor with a bat helped combat off three dogs.

One person was taken to a hospital, whereas the opposite two have been handled on the scene on thirteenth Street SE, D.C. Fire and EMS mentioned.

Neighbors mentioned the dogs have been a nuisance for months.

They mentioned in a press release: “There are no dogs currently running loose in the area. Since the dogs were in possession of the owner when we arrived (and not running at large/a stray), we could not forcefully take the dogs. We cannot forcefully take dogs that were already confined to the owner’s home for dog bite related cases.”

Neighbors describe repeated complaints about dogs
