Dementia service helps these dwelling with dementia get into the Christmas spirit with a spread of festive occasions

Churches Together South Tyneside’s Nurturing Dementia group is inviting service customers to quite a few upcoming Christmas occasions because it marks the festive season.

The group helps these dwelling with dementia, runs consciousness coaching periods in native colleges and organises occasions for the broader group will run its first Christmas occasion subsequent weekend.

A Christmas Fayre that includes a tombola, raffles, face portray, crafts, presents, meals and refreshments and leisure will take place on Saturday, 18 November at St Gregory’s Church Hall on the Nook, South Shields from 10am till 3pm.

The occasion is free to enter and all money raised will probably be used to assist the native dementia group and the Dementia Friendly Christmas Celebrations An additional three Dementia Friendly Christmas occasions will probably be taking place in December which features a 40 minute service with native faculty kids singing adopted by festive refreshments.
