Cork-based charity The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland has acquired a particular award at a prestigious awards ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House.
The annual CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) HR Awards showcase the excellent work and affect of the folks occupation in Ireland.
This 12 months the judges awarded their Special Commendation prize to The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland, to recognise the way in which it has supported its workers in troublesome occasions.

“This care is a central aspect of supporting mental health and they wanted to recognise the Donkey Sanctuary for this approach,” Ms Commaughton added.
More than 70 organisations made the checklist of finalists for this 12 months’s awards programme which was divided into 14 classes protecting a variety of subjects central to the sector.
Since they first opened their gates in 1987, The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland has cared for over 5,600 uncared for and deserted donkeys from throughout Ireland. Today, they at present take care of over 1,700 donkeys and mules.
