MACON, Ga. — An animal rescue in Macon affected by burst water pipes was saved by members of their community when it came to figuring out a solution on providing water for the 75 animals they care for.
“When the temperatures dropped we had our water pipes bust,” said sanctuary worker, Lisa Goss.
All About Animals went without water for four days when the artic blast swept through Georgia.

“We needed to make sure that they had a lot of water to make sure that their needs were met,” Goss said.
So the animal rescue put the word out on Facebook, asking for the community to donate plastic jugs or buckets full of water.
They received over 500 gallons of water from businesses and individuals.
