TORONTO — The federal migration minister says Ottawa is increase its efforts to bring in tech skill to Canada.
In a statement at tech conference Collision in Toronto, minister Sean Fraser revealed the Tech Talent Strategy, that includes a brand-new, devoted path for long-term homeowners targeting staff members and employees in the STEM sectors.
Fraser says the federal government is enhancing how it focuses on applications to its start-up visa program after assigning more areas for 2023, and is broadening the work allows provided to business owners through the program.
The federal government is likewise producing an open work authorization stream for H-1B visa holders in the U.S. to come operate in Canada, and is establishing an Innovation Stream under the International Mobility program to bring in skill.
