My wolf dog loved attention from people. She even loved parades. I live in Louisiana so she always got beads to wear during Mardi gras.

I saw the tail was tucked, this most times say they are stressed but they were happy to interact with the new people. I'm guessing this is to make themselves smaller around others so people will interact more. My malamutes would do this around children at first meeting.
