Indications Of Guinea Pig Teeth Issues

Thank you so much for this video, my Guinea pig was having teeth problems and the vet couldn’t figure it out. I was told he was fine for three weeks and they finally trimmed his teeth and he is more alive than ever

My guinea pig does the mouth motions all the time! The vet said he wasn’t suffering tooth wise but he sure is. Thanks for this video

Hi Abbi could it be a small mouth ulcer that causes this? I heard tomatoes can irritate and some fruits. I guess the vet would have seen it though. Glad she is feeding better now. <3 x

My Bear! I honestly got anxious from the title. I have a pancake pig too, and of my five she is the one I have to follow most closely with her molars according to my vet – they were slightly long last time but no need for dentistry.

Your pigs always look so happy and healthy. I have a 5 month old skinny. They are so loving. First time pig momma. I never knew these little guys had such a wonderful personality.

I remember when I was in my 20's and developed a really bad toothache. Finally went to the dentist after about of week.
My dentist was rooting around and asked me if I'd seen any good movies lately. As a matter of fact I had. He knew because he dug out a piece of popcorn hull that was wedged between my gums and a molar. So I feel for Reese. I'm glad you got her checked out, I would hate for anything to come between Reese & her noms! Everyone else is adorable especially the 2 new kids.

what kind of tool does the vet use to look at his teeth without sedation? my vet says she doesnt have that tool and would have to sedate

Hope Reese recovers great. How old is Vada now? Asking because my little girls are now 2 months old and waiting for when the new hierarchy battle of my herd will happen.

I'm glad Reese is doing better. Please tell her not to scare the viewers (and you), and give her a pat from me. Vada and Busby are doing so well in their new homes. I think Vada was always cheeky, she's just settled in enough to know what she can and can't get away with.

Seems like it… I’m already freaking out, I got these furry babies myself… I don’t know if I could spot every little problem right away like you do … it most likely comes with a lot of experience
How can you get them to the vet right away? Here in California every clinic is booked for weeks on and emergency is pretty far and triple the price
