Win my mom knows if she wants to get one on one is the other Guinea pig but the other guinea pig that were trying to get so now there’s like two scabs on his back
I just got mine a few days ago and he’s still uncomfortable I feel but I don’t have the money to get another one or a bigger cage
I’m very new to Guinea pigs- my husband brought a young male home and he has been alone while I have been gathering supplies and making a 7’x2.5’ C&C cage. I’m on the last step- making the fleece liners with U HAUL pads as the middle layer. We actually put little Buckey in the huge cage today and instead of popcorning (which he has been doing each dat when I’ve changed his too small temporary space) he timidly checked one end out, went through a tunnel in the cage and ended up in the corner, under tent with fringe and curled into himself! I held him for quite a while in a (Harry Potter) snuggle sack with some kale. He liked that for quite a while before getting squirmy.
I’m kinda concerned about getting him a buddy. The only rescue near me doesn’t allow the animals to try each other out. I’ll need to drive an hour to get there and bring one home and pray for the best! The nine males at the rescue near Otlando are all together in one large area, so hopefully the one I bring home will be ok with my little guy! And tips are welcome! PS Your videos are very helpful snd your piggies are sooooo cute!
