What kind of dogs are they?
I am taking care of an aussiedoodle right now at the boarding facility and he has been through basic obedience. I swear there's not a brain in there. Jumping is awful counter surfing is horrible jumping over every barrier I have at the boarding facility I even tried a cat scat mat to stop him from getting on counters and he just knocked everything over and went over it

my dogs are pretty bad like this (or can be if another strange dog comes along), but they're 10lb dogs and I'm not sure if a prong collar or even a slip lead is safe for their very delicate necks. (one is a chi mix and they're prone to trachea issues) Are there alternative aids to help? When i train my foster dogs the slip and prong and even gentle leader are so useful, but I find I can't use any of those tools on my small dogs.

Hey Tom, I love your videos and advice. I just can't help to wonder how could I make it work here in the UK where people are extremely against prong and slip collars…. I work with a "completely out of control" standard poodle who is coming up to a year now. She is jumping on everything and everyone, barking, running like a maniac, pulling on the leash but the owner only agrees to positive reinforcement…..

this is one reason I dont suggest doodles that and other reasons! its incredibly hard to find a proper breeder they have become so out of control and standards have fallen that they become like this and breeders just dont care about temperament, fur, paring, or bonding the animal with the handler if your getting paired with two at the same time maybe not. if you do plan to get a doodle mix seriously find a good breeder
Thanks for clarifying the distinction between when a slip lead is used vs a prong. My little guy used to resist so hard on the slip he kept choking himself out. If I knew then I would've switched to the prong but instead I stopped using it because I didn't want to cause further damage.
