  3. Hi Marlene I am getting a cockatiel and I am so excited I’ve been doing research and watching your videos and other videos I am a first time bird owner I am 11 years old and I want to get some advice also I am a big fan and I love you and your birds 😆

  4. How old is Brando here, I picked up my baby moustache today and my baby doesn't have as strong of colouration as Brando and is definitely not as brave as Brando in his new cage.

  5. Hi Marlene,

I love your videos, all of your birds are gorgeous!

I have a question, we got our first bird (2,5 y/o Alexandrine parrot) 3 weeks ago. He does allow us to feed him from hands, he knows a few tricks and learned how to say “hello” yesterday. He does step up in the mornings to go on top of the cage and occasionally steps up when we ask him to do so, but it seems like he doesnt want to play with any toys and he doesnt want to climb down from the cage.

We do move the cage during the day so he would participate in everything with us, but he is terrified to climb down and if we take him anywhere he rushes back to the top of his cage.

Do you have any recommenndations? Maybe we are doing something wrong?

Thank you for your answer in advance!

  6. I'm soon to get a lovebird that's not tame. I watched your other video on how to tame a bird, was very helpful for me. You are so informative. I'm gonna be a new bird mom so trying my best to learn as much as I can before my baby comes home. Thank you so much for your videos ♡

  7. I've been looking to get another cage like the one in the video, my sun conure and green cheek are buddies and are inseparable but I think they could benefit from a play top plus a little extra space.

  8. Brando looks like such a cutie! Very responsive and inquisitive, like all babies. I bet he's going to be a talkative little guy. 🙂 Watching him climb around and stumble a bit made me wonder if he's either expecting his furniture to be in the same spots as they were in his old house, or if the current furnishings are sized a bit too large for him? Perhaps situating his furniture a little closer together until he's gotten his full growth on might help so he doesn't have to struggle to reach so much? Just a thought. He's a lovely bird. It'll be a joy to watch him grow up! Can't wait to see how he interacts with the rest of your flock! Much love to all the featherbutts,four-footers and scalies!

  9. My bird flew out of my room yesterday(we have a dog and don't want anything to happen) and my mom took a towel and walked him back in my room and his wings were half raised and it was so funny
