Did Sakura have a bath/shower in clean water after? – I think @otterman used to give Aty [and maybe Ui] a wash/bath/shower after swimming in salt water. I think he said it dries their skin and may lead to skin infection or parasites.

I'm pretty sure bath salts are not good for otters.
Their fur, as I'm sure you know, has oils and fats that keeps it healthy.
Our skin does too, but it's less sensitive.
Bath salts are not just nice smelling but also have soap properties.
Soap is made to disolve fats. For cleaning purposes on humans. Which is good for us, but not for most furred companions.

Aside of that, otters have more sensitive noses than we do. Strong smells can hurt or be uncomfortable. Just think of how dogs react to smelling lemon juice.

Most likelu, the bath salt will not cause an otter much harm. However, I would be carefull.

But I'm neither a vet, nor an otter specialist. So forgive me if I'm wrong or telling you something you already know.
I just want to help.
