1 Jan 2019. Day 6 of treatment.
Jaundice – obvious by yellow 3rd eyelids, ears and gums. The cat was anti-vomiting for the previous 3 days and hand fed Hills’ A/D and K/D. The cat has actually enhanced a little based upon lack of bilirubin in a current urine test.
A 3rd blood test revealed lower liver enzyme showing that the cat’s liver is recuperating from treatment consisting of Ornipural injections.
The creatinine levels are high showing kidney failure. The cat is on day-to-day fluid treatment through subcutaneous path. No more throwing up as at Jan 1 as the cat had anti-vomiting injections for the previous 5 days.
