A Tasmanian snake catcher says a person obtained a shock after discovering a “fairly massive” tiger snake curled up subsequent to the bathroom in his one-bedroom unit on Tuesday morning.

It’s believed the snake, which was between 106cm to 120cm in size, had slithered into the house at Round Head within the state’s north-west the day prior to this when the proprietor had left the doorways open whereas he mowed the lawns.
“He had walked into the bathroom and to his horror, there was a snake trying him within the eye,” snake catcher Kate Downing mentioned.
“You do not get a cellphone name like that daily”.
Ms Downing mentioned the person remained calm on the cellphone and punctiliously adopted her directions of placing a towel beneath the door so the snake couldn’t escape.
She was capable of catch the tiger snake and launch it safely, with none fuss.
Snakes on the transfer
Current heat temperatures throughout Tasmania imply snakes are energetic, rising from hibernation looking for heat and meals.
