On Thursday, November 17, we attended the launch party for The Popcorn Challenge, featuring Cookie Pop and Candy Pop by SNAX-Sational Brands Group!
To celebrate their annual #SnackGiving initiative, they created this challenge to raise funds and awareness for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF) and their work with Children’s Hospitals nationwide. This campaign contributes to the global generosity movement #GivingTuesday, empowering people and organizations to transform our world.
Giving back is a continuous mission of SNAX-Sational Brands. We are honored to work with such an incredible nonprofit.” – Adam Cohen, Chief Marketing Officer, SNAX-Sational Brands Group
The Popcorn Challenge officially went live on November 15 as Lance Bass challenged his followers to participate in this interactive giving initiative.
Here’s how the challenge works. From November 15th to December 15th, participants must post a video, trying to catch as much popcorn in their mouth in 10 seconds–bonus points to those who challenge their friends to do it, too! Any attempt will qualify, even if you do not catch any popcorn.
The grand winner will receive $1,000 and be chosen at random. Twenty other lucky recipients will win a year of popcorn delivery of their flavor choice, plus a Who Has It Holiday VIP Gift Box!
How to enter:
- Post a video (stories, reels or static) attempting ‘The Popcorn Challenge’ and tag @cookiepop_candypop and @ryanfoundation between Nov. 15th – Dec. 15th.
- (Invite @cookiepop_candypop to be a collaborator if on IG)
- Include hashtags: #snackgiving #snacktogive #popcornchallenge #cookiecandypop #ryanfoundation #givingtuesday
- Make sure to use the music “Popcorn Challenge!”, a custom song created by Bobby Kennedy III.
The launch party took place at Hotel Ziggy in Los Angeles, featuring DJ sets by Riverdale star Hart Denton, Caroline D’Amore, and Ryan Kenney.
Spanning two floors and the pool at the Ziggy Hotel, multiple stations and activities encouraged guests to participate in The Popcorn Challenge. From giant snack-filled hamster balls in the pool to 360 photo booths, there was fun at every turn. Who Has It? was on hand to give guests their custom VIP popcorn boxes.
