The RSPCA is appealing for info after a youth was seen setting alight a live mouse in Peterborough.
The event occurred on Sunday 9 October in Bellona Drive, Stanground, when a big group of youths were seen in the location.
The RSPCA stated that a witness reported hearing among the young boys in the group shout he was going to burn the mouse – and after that might be seen laying the defenceless animal on a bench and setting it alight.
The witness stated that the mouse leapt off the bench in a quote to get away, however the youth captured it once again and burned the animal.
It is thought the bad mouse passed away in the attack.
