EE today released its project, Snakes, that includes a 30 2nd and 60 2nd advertisement including star Kevin Bacon. The advertisement takes a look at Kevin as he views a group of enormous boa constrictor snakes wriggle in his house, highlighting how unpleasant it can feel when your broadband simply crawls along at peak times.
The advertisement, which will strike screens this evening throughout Crowning Street, advises audiences that with EE’s Complete Fiber Broadband, clients can be sure to get the peak time speeds they spend for.
The advertisement starts with a close-up of Kevin Bacon’s face as his eyes dart left and right in alarm, with a hissing noise growing louder and louder in the background. All of a sudden, a massive boa constrictor appears on screen, wriggling around the living-room.
Tense, Kevin asks the audiences: “Have you ever asked yourself the concern? Can you actually rely on your broadband, or does it slither along?”. Kevin then continues: “or at peak times do things feel a little … restricted”. The snake’s huge body starts to squash the house’s Wi-Fi router.
The advertisement moves in tone as Kevin advises audiences that with Complete Fiber Broadband from EE, you’ll constantly get the speeds you’re guaranteed. Kevin changes the crushed router with an EE Complete Fiber broadband router triggering the snake to wriggle out of the open window.
The 30-second television advert, established by EE’s ad agency, Saatchi and Saatchi UK, goes cope with an across the country television project on fourth November, throughout Crowning Street.
