Terrifying footage has captured the second a snake catcher pulled a large python from the roof of a home and found that the reptile had killed a possum and the animal’s child.
Video of the second the large 2.6m carpet python was pulled from a downlight gap within the ceiling of a home in Brisbane on Wednesday was was uploaded to the Snake Catchers Brisbane and Gold Coast Facebook web page.
The horrified home proprietor watched on as snake catcher Steph bravely eliminated the large reptile.
She seen one thing was obstructing her efforts to tug the python from the ceiling and started to peel components of the roof away in an try to create more room.
To her shock she discovered a feminine brushtail possum trapped within the ceiling after it had been killed by the snake.
As Steph started to tug the possum out of the roof in a bid to take away the snake, she found the animal’s child.
The feminine house owner gasped because the toddler animal lay limp in Steph’s palms.
She continued to tear away extra components of the ceiling because the possum’s leg remained hanging from the roof.
‘Oh, that is a large one,’ the house owner whispered beneath her breath.
Eventually, Steph managed to create sufficient area within the ceiling and efficiently eliminated the big snake.
The possum then landed on the ground with a loud thud.
‘Oh my goodness lord,’ the home proprietor exclaimed.
Steph untangled the python because the the shocked house owner and her daughter watched on in horror.
Steph then placed the snake inside a big beige bag earlier than she put the possum inside.
The python was later launched into the wild.
