For World Environment Day, the ACT Government will offer simply under $500,000 to regional neighborhood tasks to save the ACT’s natural surroundings.
One moneyed task has to do with lowering the human-snake dispute in the metropolitan environment.
It’s run by snake ecologist at ANU, Associate Professor Gavin Smith and the Ginninderry Conservation Trust.
Gavin signed up with Anna Vidot on the ABC Canberra Drive reveal to discuss why Canberra requires its snakes to prosper.
