Prague: A college within the Czech capital was left in shock after an incident of mass capturing in central Parague has left a minimum of 15 individuals lifeless and several other significantly injured. On Thursday, armed police had been referred to as to the college building in Jan Palach Square in Prague after a gunman open-fired contained in the college premises, The Independent reported. Shortly after the report of the tragic incident broke out the Czech police knowledgeable that they’d “eliminated” the shooter concerned within the incident.
“We are currently responding to a reported shooting at a school in Náměstí Jan Palach. At the moment, all components of the IZS are going to the place. Czech President condemns the incident
Calling it a “shocking incident”, Czech President Petr Pavel condemned the entire ordeal and prolonged condolences to households of the victims. “I am shocked by the events at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. I would like to express my deep regret and sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims that the shooting claimed,” Pavel wrote on X, formally often called Twitter. “I want to thank the citizens for respecting the instructions of the security forces and providing maximum cooperation,” he added.
Shortly after the information broke out, Pavel Nedoma, the director of Rudolfinum Gallery, which is also positioned within the sq., advised Czech public tv that he noticed from a window a person who was capturing from a gun towards the close by Manes bridge throughout the Vltava River.
