Animal providers confirmed that they acquired a name on Monday afternoon a few snake and retrieved a “deceased boa” on Monday afternoon at Erindale Park, on the shoreline of the Credit River.
“It appears that an otherwise healthy snake succumbed to the conditions,” they mentioned in an announcement offered to CP24, noting that the reptile is estimated to be over seven ft in size.
Mississauga Animal Services mentioned that the snake in query is probably going a non-native species, presumably a red-tail boa constrictor. This kind of snake wants a “much warmer climate and temperatures for survival,” they famous.
The service is urging anybody who locates any animals like this to name them at 905-896-5858.
