Officers from the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) captured a toxic snake on the terrace of a house in Al-Rahwa location in Fuheis.
Witnesses said that a specialized group from the CDD hurried to the area and caught the snake, which was recognized as a ‘Palestine Viper’ or ‘Daboia Palaestinae.’
According to professionals, there are 38 kinds of snakes in Jordan, 22 of which are non-poisonous, 9 have weak venom, and 7 are extremely toxic.
Experts said that the Palestine Viper is understood for its toxic bites, keeping in mind that they spread out extremely rapidly.
