TAMPA, Fla. – Snakes on an airplane? Not this time after the Transport Security Administration states a tourist tried to bring an “psychological assistance animal” boa constrictor snake through security at an airport in Florida.
A TSA spokesperson tweeted on Friday that the occurrence occurred last month at Tampa International Airport. The firm stated a female traveler had the snake, called “Bartholomew,” in her carry-on bag. The slithery stowaway was found when the bag went through an x-ray maker at security.
” There’s a risk noodle because bag … Our officers at Tampa International Airport didn’t discover this hyssssssterical!” the TSA composed in a follow-up Instagram post. “Coiled up in a guest’s carry-on was a 4′ boa constrictor! We truly have no adder-ation for finding any animal going through an x-ray maker.”

According to FOX News, the representative stated that TSA got in touch with the airline company, which stated that she could not bring the snake aboard the airplane.
The TSA stated airline companies do not enable “nope ropes” in carry-on bags and just a couple of enable them to crawl around in examined bags, if packaged properly.
