A banana ball python that was stolen from a Kelowna pet retailer on Saturday has been returned unhurt, Mounties stated.
The snake, a “sweet girl” named Milkshake, was snatched from the Purple Seahorse in Rutland by three youngsters, in line with social media posts from proprietor Kai Heinrich.
It was Community Youth Safety Officer Const. Fed Angulo who bought the snake again and returned it to the Purple Seahorse, police stated.
In gentle of the truth that Milkshake remains to be wholesome, and after conversations with Heinrich, there are not any legal costs on the desk, police added.
“One of the things the owner wanted to ensure is if the youth were remorseful,” Const. Angulo stated in a Wednesday information launch. “In my dealings with the youth, I could confirm they were indeed remorseful for their actions and did regret causing the incident.”
