A snake poking his head where it didn’t belong knocked out power to countless Alabama citizens, an electrical cooperative reported on social networks Wednesday.
Officials with the Marshall DeKalb Electric Cooperative initially thought the blackout was brought on by TVA, however then its teams found the genuine issue – a nosey snake satisfied his death inside a substation.
The snake knocked out power to the cooperative which has roughly 19,000 customer/members, right before twelve noon on Wednesday.
“We located the problem and thought we would share with our members,” the cooperative composed on social networks. “Look close. A snake made his way into the Albertville Primary Substation and knocked out the majority of our system. Thank you to everyone for being patient.”
Power was brought back a brief time after the issue lay.
