Snake Eyes actor Henry Golding says that Paramount has some “grand, grand plans” for the G.I. Joe franchise.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Golding offered a short update relating to what the way forward for the G.I. Joe franchise would possibly appear to be.
“I mean, Lorenzo di Bonaventura is a busy man and a phenomenal producer, and it’s in safe hands,” Golding stated. “Whatever happens, I think it’s going to be a combination of what has come and what is to come. I think Paramount have some grand, grand plans.”

Even in the graphic novels for Transformers, there are other planets and things like that, and I was like, ‘We’re just thinking too small.’ So, if we’re going to do movie number eight and nine and ten, maybe there’s a way to make this all more expansive and branch out.”
So far, there have been three theatrically launched movies within the G.I. Joe franchise — 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, 2013’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and 2021’s Snake Eyes, the latter of which served as a reboot and noticed Golding play the titular character.
