Snakes on a Plane?
More like snakes on Pacers as college students who had been courageous sufficient welcomed these crawling creatures on Snake Day 2023. Snake day at William Peace University gave college students the chance to be taught and bond with these pleasant crawling creatures.
Snake day was hosted on Oct. 30 by Dr.Meyers who introduced within the snakes and breeds them. One snakes introduced in by Meyers was a peppercorn snake. Meyers sends the infants right down to Louisiana to allow them to be re-released again into the wild. They’re greater snakes and eat issues like squirrels.
“If they lived here there’d be plenty of squirrels for them to eat,” stated Meyers referring to the WPU campus.
While many college students flock to Snake Day, some would relatively sit it out. Julianna Moreland, a junior at William Peace is a type of college students who sat out throughout snake day.
“Something about them…I don’t know, there is nothing appealing about a reptile,” stated Moreland. She would like animals that had been cute and cuddly as guests on campus as an alternative. “Why can’t there be a puppy day?” stated Moreland.
Although some college students concern retains them from attending snake day Meyers assures college students the snakes are innocent.
“They react more to your reaction to them,” stated Meyer. Designer snakes together with corn snakes are distinct of their actions. All of the snakes had been introduced by Meyers and carried in pillowcases as a result of they’ll’t see very effectively, it retains them calm from freaking out.
