“His kidneys are sorting themselves so he won’t need dialysis,” she wrote on Facebook.
“His eyes and tongue muscles are not working the best due to the neurotoxins, but the toxicology team is not too worried about that at this stage.”
It’s understood Tony, who runs Harrison’s Gold Coast and Brisbane Snake Catcher business with Brooke, was bitten whereas trying to take away two jap browns that had been mating in a backyard at a Stockleigh home on Sunday.
Tony was bitten on the wrist and rushed to Logan Hospital by paramedics in a critical however secure situation, Queensland Ambulance Service mentioned.
Brooke was additionally hospitalised when she “collapsed” from stress and exhaustion within the hours after the incident.
“As for myself, I was not bitten. I suffered stomach and chest pains, exhaustion and stress,” she mentioned on Facebook on Monday.
