By India Today News Desk: Forty-four-year-old Jasab Khan from Rajasthan was bitten by a snake on June 20. He endured the snakebite after getting treatment at a medical facility in Pokhran for 4 days. However, a day after Khan returned home from medical facility, on June 26, he was bitten by a snake as soon as again. This time, Khan passed away while getting treatment at a medical facility in Jodhpur.
Jasab Khan was a local of Mehrangarh town in the Jodhpur district.
Both times, Khan is said to have actually been bitten by a snake that is called ‘bandi’, a sub-species of viper typically discovered in the desert locations of Rajasthan.
