Pythons can inflict a lot of harm (if not kill) by only wrapping their muscular body tightly around their prey.
Depending on their size they can constrict with a force of 7.8 Pound-force per square inch (PSI).
The giant snakes can kill their prey easily by looping their long bodies around to choke and crush.
Many incidents of pythons attacking and swallowing humans have been reported in different countries.
A recent one was reported one from Indonesia, where a woman was found dead in the stomach of a 7-metre python at a rubber plantation in Jambi Province, according to reports.
Four years ago, another woman was found to have been swallowed by a giant python on the island of Muna.
These incidents were for pythons in the wild. But the snakes can be equally dangerous even in captivity.
An incident caught on camera showed a python biting and constricting it’s handler’s hand while being taken out of a glass container.
As soon as the female handler opened the lid of the box, the snake slithered out and bit her hand before constricting the entire arm.
Now, a new clip shared on Instagram shows a python violently attacking a man who was trying to secure the snake in a box.
