Bus throughout Snake Pass included in latest timetable modifications introduced by officers
A Snake Pass bus service is to run at weekends, below plans revealed by transport bosses.
The route is amongst a variety of providers outlines by Travel South Yorkshire, amongst a string of modifications to timetables.
The service , the quantity 257, can be operated by Hulleys of Baslow, and can function on Sundays.
The timetable modifications state of the route: “Sheffield – Derwent – Bakewell/Castleton: From September 3 there can be timetable modifications on all days of the week. There will even be further night journeys on Mondays to Saturdays.
“On Sundays, buses don’t serve Bamford however as an alternative prolong over Snake Pass to Glossop, Hayfield, Chapel-en-le-Firth and Castleton.”
A earlier service throughout the snake go was withdrawn in January 2022 as a result of it didn’t attracted sufficient passengers to make it viable.
There was upset when the service was withdrawn.
Those who raised complaints on the time included the High Peak MP Robert Largan, who mentioned on the time: “I’m actually dissatisfied that the X57 bus service can be withdrawn from January.”
