PRINCESS Anne has actually selected the style for a huge tortoise sculpture that will be talented to her by Durrell in acknowledgment of her 50 years as customer of the wildlife trust.

Jersey artist Gabriella Street’s proposed style– entitled ‘Sanctuary’– was picked by the Princess Royal. It includes colours drawn from photos of Princess Anne’s past and present style options, together with plants and animals associating with her lots of journeys to Durrell’s tasks and Jersey Zoo.
