Phoenix radio icon Super Snake has handed away. Confirmed by his household, the legendary radio host, identified for his signature giggle and vibrant character, died within the early hours of Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023.
Super Snake was a staple on the Phoenix airwaves for many years.
After going to Pepperdine University, Super Snake labored in San Diego radio. From there, he went to Houston, then Dallas, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Super Snake was a family title again within the ’90s within the Valley, as a preferred radio DJ on the old Power 92 in Phoenix. From there, he went to New York for a number of years, however Phoenix was all the time home to him. In 2022 he joined Desert Valley Media Group’s all new HOT 97.5 & 103.9 as a DJ, bringing his appeal again to native radio.
