People had been in for a shock at present after a 6ft-long snake – considered a boa constrictor – slithered throughout the street proper in entrance of their eyes. The reptile left beachgoers shocked because it was seen sliding throughout Lawrence Road in Mount Batten.
A video captured by Plymouth resident Bob Lee, aged 80, reveals the non-venomous snake being rescued from the undergrowth by RSPCA animal response volunteer Dawn Lapthorn.
Bob stated he had been visiting Mount Batten for years and had “by no means seen something prefer it”. He stated: “It was truly within the street and I noticed folks pointing so I ended my automotive and this snake was going throughout the street. When it was stretched out it was round 6ft lengthy.
“It went into the undergrowth so I contacted the police and the RSPCA, we thought we could not depart it right here with kids and dogs about. Eventually, a woman got here and happily, she knew about snakes.
