A lady tried to bring a 4-foot boa constrictor in a carry-on bag through a TSA checkpoint in Tampa International Airport last month, authorities stated.

TSA representative Lisa Farbstein stated that a female declared the snake, called Bartholomew, was her psychological assistance animal, however after the airline company was informed, it declined to let her have it on the airplane.

The TSA published on Instagram that airline companies do not permit snakes in carry-on bags, and just a couple of will permit them in inspected bags if the animal is packaged properly.
