Before the other day’s top of the 9th crisis, Miguel Castro hadn’t enabled any runs through 10 innings. Right of the bat his pitches ran out control and landing out of the zone. He wound up packing the bases, got a fast 2nd-out liner to Perdomo, and after that Rosario presented all of us to his Grand Salami. It was substantial in the sense that the series was practically sealed in favor of ATL and the Diamondbacks would drop their 2nd video game in a row. Luckily the Dodgers lost (once again) and we stay atop the NL West. Diamondbacks’ offense to me is looking much better, however we need to reconsider Pavin Smith as leadoff. Sure, like every fourth video game he may do something fantastic with the bat, however his existence in the OF is not required, and he’s going 0-4 as leadoff in some video games. Aside from all that, sweeping the Rockies was hella sweet. First sweep of the year, 4 video game set, big wins. Anyhow, both the D-backs and Dodgers are off today so take pleasure in the NL West department lead and some memes.
