Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins was assaulted by a snake on Tuesday’s episode I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The Bachelor star, 35, was entrusted with positioning his hand inside a cage including a snake for 30 seconds in order to win food for the camp.

He approached the hissing animal and prior to positioning his hand into the nest specified, ‘He does not look happy either.’

The animal clinched Nick’s wrist and bit down, with the previous footballer looking distressed as a snake covered its jaw around his hand.

He grimaced in discomfort, as host Dr Chris Brown rapidly explained that the animal was a non-venomous python.

It quickly emerged Nick was bleeding, with a stream leaking from his hurt hand, and a snake handler was generated to separate the reptile from Nick’s arm.

Host Chris Brown rapidly called a medic to the scene, and Nick’s hurt hand was dealt with for the injury.

‘He’s alright. I believed his skin may have been a bit harder being a honey badger. I believe we’ll be good,’ the medical professional joked.

Nick rapidly recuperated and went on to participate in the next difficulty, winning 10 stars out of a possible 13.

It follows news that Nick is drawing in a massive pay package for his time on I’m A Celebrity.

He is thought to be paid much as $300,000 for his stint on the program, making his charge the greatest up until now reported.

‘His deal is believed to deserve around $250,000 to $300,000, making him among the greatest paid campmates this year,’ an expert informs Yahoo Lifestyle.

‘It’s a little less than the $500,000 that he was spent for The Bachelor, however this is a much shorter production with less needs and guidelines,’ they included.

‘It’ll all be carried out in a couple of weeks, unlike The Bachelor, where he needed to put his life on hold for 6 months.’

Daily Mail Australia earlier revealed that the majority of the celebs starring on the popular series are earning money in between $35,000 and $180,000.
