A big snake was noticed slithering across the Town of Clarkstown in Rockland County.
The large reptile seen in Congers Lake was recognized as a local black snake, in line with the state Department of Conservation.
The common size of the snake is 3 to five ft lengthy.
They should not venomous and do not pose a risk to people.
Residents might even see them slithering round because the climate will get hotter, in line with specialists.
