A person has been charged after 26 snakes, each lifeless and alive, had been discovered inside a automobile north of Brisbane.
Police pulled over a automobile for visitors offences in Bundaberg, 370km north of Brisbane, however made the shock discover of 13 reside and 13 lifeless snakes contained in the automobile on March 2.
Some of the snakes, a mixture of pythons and inexperienced tree snakes, had been decomposing whereas others had been slithering freely within the automobile.
The residing snakes had been seized by police and brought to an emergency animal hospital for remedy.
The surviving snakes have been given to a neighborhood wildlife rescue organisation to be cared for.
A 22-year-old Moore Park Beach man has been charged with 26 counts of animal cruelty.
