There was panic amongst employees at Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens after somebody dumped three dwell snakes in one of many glasshouses.

The SSCPA have been known as to town’s West End on Monday afternoon and Glasgow City Council say the reptiles, which have been non-venomous, have been rapidly captured safely and at the moment are within the care of the charity.

A spokesman for the native authority stated: “An irresponsible individual brought on alarm to employees on the Botanic Gardens yesterday by dumping three dwell snakes in one of many glasshouses.

“The preliminary sightings brought on misery, however fortunately, now we have a member of employees with information of and expertise with snakes who rapidly recognized them as non-venomous corn snakes. The snakes have been rapidly captured after an in depth search and the SSPCA was known as.
