A lady in the southern province of Chumphon confronts 5 years in prison and a fine of as much as 500,000 baht for keeping 37 secured birds as family pets without authorization. The female firmly insisted that she did not purchase or acquire the birds unlawfully, the birds pertained to her of their own free choice so chosen to take care of them.

Officers from the Natural Resources and Environmental Criminal Offense Department, otherwise called Greencop, got a grievance from a confidential individual about the unlawful belongings of secured birds at a house in the Baan Na sub-district of Chumphon.
