Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): A 17-year-old lady passed away due to absence of prompt medical treatment in Khargone district on Friday.
The occurrence was reported at Jhirniya tehsil of Khargone district, about 70-kilometre from the district head office, and the deceased was recognized as Asha, child of Raju, of Indira Colony in Jhirniya town.
While doing domestic tasks, Asha was bitten by a snake on Friday early morning. Relatives instantly moved her to CHC, Jhiranya.
After her death, relative and loved ones implicated on-duty medical professionals of hold-up in referring her to the district health center.
On the other hand, on-duty medical professionals implicated relative of losing valuable time in exorcist routines at the health center and not enabling medical professionals to treat her.
Even the video of the exorcist practicing on Asha at the health center went viral on social networks in which the lady might be seen resting on the bed in the health center, with an exorcist hectic in exorcism. The drama went on for about 2 hours. Instead of stopping the exorcist, the medical professionals and the health center staff stayed mute viewers. When the condition intensified, the lady was described the district health center, however she passed away en route.
Died On Way To Hospital
