Hell has certainly frozen over, with the revelation that Kazuchika Okada is ready to make his return to TNA Wrestling.
Okada has been introduced for TNA’s upcoming Snake Eyes TV tapings in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 14, 2024, with it being 13 years since Okada’s final look in a TNA ring.
‘The Rainmaker’ previously wrestled on tour in TNA as Okato, a gimmick impressed by Bruce Lee’s character in Nineteen Sixties TV collection The Green Hornet. The gimmick was one of many important causes for the breakdown in relations between TNA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, with NJPW horrified by TNA’s remedy of their subsequent main star.
In the years since his final TNA look, Okada has not been afraid to publicly lambast the corporate, though he has admitted the run was useful to him because it helped him suppose extra about character, and set him on the trail to creating the ‘Rainmaker’.
It’s not been introduced who Okada will probably be going through on the TV tapings, we’re simply hoping that Okato masks stays firmly below lock and key.
