BLACKFOOT — A wreck on State Highway 39 close to Snake River High School left a juvenile useless and a person hospitalized Saturday night.
The crash occurred round 8:30 p.m. on the intersection of Highway 39 and 900 West, based on Lt. Gary Yancey of the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office. He says a person was driving a GMC pickup truck south on 900 West with a juvenile male passenger. The driver allegedly ran a cease signal on the intersection and hit one other pickup truck, which was driving east on the freeway.
“The two occupants of the GMC were ejected,” Yancy instructed EastIdahoNews.com. Both had been taken to an area hospital, the place the juvenile died.
The driver of the opposite truck had minor accidents, Yancey mentioned, and was taken to the hospital by personal automobile.
No additional details about the victims or state of affairs has been launched.
The crash is being investigated by the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office. Yancy mentioned alcohol is believed to have been an element within the incident.
