An city explorer has shared photographs and photographs of an deserted zoo, the place he found breeding tanks, snake skins and different animal moults.

Daniel Sims, identified on-line Bearded Reality, took a glance across the former Rutland Sanctuary Zoo in Oakham, East Midlands.

The zoo closed down in late 2022 as a result of rising power prices and, in line with Daniel, continues to be in ‘amazing condition’.

Daniel, who shared the footage on TikTookay and YouTube after visiting earlier this month, mentioned: ‘The complete web site has every part left behind – aside from the animals, in fact.

‘It is still in amazing condition, so it’s stunning it simply sat left and wasted.

‘The web site itself in areas appears a little bit run-down however has suffered little or no injury, so it might simply re-open as one other mini zoo or attraction with little or no effort.

‘You can tell the previous owners put a lot of their heart and soul into this project, so it’s a disgrace to see it like this.
