One of the main quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – “Regional Phenomena”, gives you the opportunity to explore the four main zones in the game and earn the vows of their champions in the order of your choosing. When you head to Eldin Region, you will start the quest “Yunobo of Gorgon City” which will lead you to the top of Death Mountain and the entrance to the Depths that are hidden there. But before you go down to the underworld and head to the Fire Temple, you need to deal with one nasty roadblock in the form of a very unique mini-boss. So, let’s find out how to defeat Moragia the Death Mountain Crater guardian in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Beat Moragia Boss in Tears of the Kingdom

Moragia is basically three stone dragon heads that come out of the Death Mountain Crater that will start shooting fire projectiles at you once you reach the peak of the Death Mountain. Although there are certainly more crazy ways to defeat this boss, the easiest and most logical one will be right next to you after the encounter starts.

You will notice that on your right there is an already assembled Zonai Wing with two Zonai Fans, Batteries, and a Control Stick attached – ready for you to pick up with Ultahand, put onto the rail to take flight. Interact with the control stick to turn on the engines and assume control of the flying machine. Start flying to one of the Morgaria’s heads and use the Yunobo’s ability to launch him straight at it.

This will require some maneuvering and flying skills, as you need to avoid projectiles and get your flying contraption close enough to the head to launch Yunobo into it and do big damage. Luckily, Yunobo’s attack has some good range, so it’s just a matter of getting close enough and having a good launch angle. After just a few hits, the head will fall apart, and you move to the next one.

If you are precise, this encounter will be extremely short – because this is just an introductory boss at the very beginning of your path to the depths and the Fire Temple, which brings a more serious challenge, and a considerably more difficult boss at the very end the Marbled Gohma – so don’t think you got away this easy!
