A 10-year-old lady has actually said she was “incredibly fired up” to have actually identified a snake swimming in a canal.
Mollie was with her sibling, 12, and dad Richard, when she observed a moorhen “following something” in the Cromford Canal, in Matlock, Derbyshire, last month.
She said: “I was incredibly delighted to see a snake in the wild – I’ve never ever seen one in the canal prior to.”
Her daddy Richard, from Kirkby-in-Ashfield, who recorded the sighting, said he thought it had to do with 4ft (1.2m) long.
