In a heartwarming but terrifying incident in an Australian yard, a young woman named Rosie bravely fought off a snake to save lots of her beloved guinea pig, MaxiBon.
The incident went viral on-line after Rosie’s uncle, Kip Wightman, shared the video on social media, garnering over 8,800 views, People reported.
In the video, Rosie frantically searches for her pet guinea pig across the nook of her home and to her horror, she finds MaxiBon within the jaws of a large snake.
Without a second thought, the 12-year-old woman fearlessly grabs the snake’s tail and begins rotating it in a round movement, hoping to make it drop her pet.
Her bravery and fast pondering paid off because the snake finally let go of MaxiBon, permitting Rosie to save lots of her treasured little pal.
Rosie instructed 7News Australia that she acted on pure intuition. “Didn’t even suppose it by. I used to be similar to, ‘seize the snake, seize the snake.'”
Rosie’s father, Luke Wightman, who intervened and helped his daughter within the state of affairs, stated that he discovered his daughter “holding [the snake] like a hammer thrower.”

He described the snake as a 2.5-meter python, however the reptile’s precise species stays unclear.
Wightman shared that Rosie “is doing superb” following the incident, including that she was “simply tremendous relieved that MaxiBon survived.”
He instructed 7News Australia that he’s “proud” Rosie had the “guts to select up a snake and save her pet’s life.”
