A 16-year-old lady has supposedly passed away due to a snake bite in western Nepal after she was required to remain in a hut outside her home throughout her duration.
The teen was bitten by a snake on Tuesday while she was oversleeping the shed in Pancheshwar, Baitadi district, in Sudurpashchim province, according to The Kathmandu Post.
“The lady was sleeping outside her house in a shed throughout her menstruation when the event took place,” Bina Bhatt, vice chair of the rural town, informed the paper.
