Wahid, informal labourer in Awantipora Forest Division, is present process therapy at SKIMS

Pampore: An off-the-cuff labourer was hospitalized after bitten by a snake whereas working within the forest division Awantipora on Thursday.
Wahid Ahmad Ganaie, son of Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Ganaie, resident of Khunmoh Srinagar, was performing his routine duties as a forest labourer. Engaged in his duties, he encountered a snake, leading to a venomous chunk.
Swift motion by his colleagues proved instrumental, as they promptly rushed to his help and swiftly transported him to the closest medical facility. From there, he was referred to SMHS and subsequently to SKIMS, the place he’s at present present process therapy for the snakebite.

The medical doctors at SDH Pampore referred him to SMHS hospital, and upon his arrival there, the SMHS medical crew additional referred him to SKIMS Soura Srinagar, the Range Officer mentioned, including that the snake species is but to be recognized, however at SKIMS Soura, he obtained 5 injections, which supplied vital reduction.

He added, “The doctors there further referred me to SMHS, where my initial checkup revealed a blood pressure of 80/60. I was then transferred to SKIMS, where I am currently admitted. I received an initial injection, followed by 5 snakebite injections along with glucose. I am glad to report that my condition is steadily improving compared to earlier.”
