Most individuals don’t like snakes. Finding a snake in your house is a significant worry for many people. But I’m unsure that the bulk would deal with that circumstance rather like previous NFL pass receiver and present ESPN expert Harry Douglas did.

At the very end of Get Up, host Mike Greenberg shared a tweet from another ESPN expert, Heather Dinich.

Dinich published an image and says she went to water a plant — which seems simply outside her house — and discovered a snake.

Pretty frightening, though it does look like if this plant is outdoors, based upon my strong investigator work. That, obviously, being me discovering the clear outside outlet and vinyl siding.

Deductive things, I understand.

Attempting to end ESPN early morning program Get Up on a light note, Greenberg shared the tweet with Douglas and asked him what he would perform in that circumstance.

And that’s when things took an actually dark turn.

“I found a snake in my house a few years ago,” Douglas started, innocently enough. “And, I tortured that little sucker since he might have got to my kids.

“I lit him on fire, Greeny. If I was Heather, I would have poured gasoline on him and lit him on fire and gotten rid of him.”

“That wasn’t what I expected at all,” an exasperated Greenberg reacted.

Then, after an uncomfortable silence, Greenberg merely says, “See you tomorrow, First Take starts now.”

This is a strange thing for Douglas to state, specifically on ESPN. I get the entire “protecting my kids,” however at the very same time what type of snake are we discussing?

It’s not like Douglas lives in the middle of the Amazon jungle. There’s no chance an anaconda or boa constrictor entered into his house.

Chances are it was a reasonably safe snake.

Now, I’d have been frightened out of my mind, safe or not. But I can’t think about any situation where I would light an animal on fire. Unless it was actually the only possible choice.

I’m thinking Douglas had other alternatives. They do state that abusing animals is the very first indication of a serial killer.

I’m not stating Douglas is a serial killer. But if ESPN workers unexpectedly start going missing out on, I’d need to believe Douglas may make the suspect list.
